I will b like a hybrid, I will be working mainly as barback and when the moment come I will be "helping" the bartender making drinks for the servers. a school with truth behind it's name..

Everything is hands on and the staff is friendly, patient, and will answer as many questions as you have to ask. You learn a completely up to date curriculum which differs from most bartending schools in south Florida who are still teaching archaic, out-dated drinks, bartending techniques and methods. All the staff are working bartenders in high volume and prestigious places giving you a curriculum of the most popular and asked for drinks. The best thing about Elite is that no matter if you are a fast or slow learner you WILL learn because you have an unlimited membership where you can practice at any time any day or re-take the class as many times as you want at no charge. Once you come to Elite you are basically family. Once I graduated, the next day, (literally) I received a call from my teacher saying " I found a place near you that is hiring bartenders can you make it tomorrow for an interview?" I happily agreed, I didn't get hired but the school kept calling me almost every day that week with new job leads until I got a job at the club level of a stadium. I could not be any happier with the turnout of my decision to take bartending school at Elite. They've met and surpassed my expectations. Thank you so much Elite!

By chad - July 12, 2010 : If your looking to be a bartender then Elite is the way to go! Life time membership, job assistance,amazing training and the best instructors. I start working at the stadium in 3 weeks and still get calls and emails on job leads. Even though i graduated and now a licensed bartender i still go back to practice and talk to the instructors whenever i want. You make new friends and so many doors get opened for you. The hands on training is great, your at a real bar using real bottles and the environment is very realistic. And you get to taste what you make so that is a plus. If you know nothing of alcohol like i did before this class, no worries, because you will learn everything. Everything from making the drinks, knowing the flavors, to handling tabs. If your going to become a bartender become an ELITE one.

By CATALINA - May 20, 2010 : LOVE IT!!! The teachers are soooo nice and patient and give you so many insights about the business!! They really make you feel like you are at the right place. They are super well connected and will do their best to get you a job as soon as you pass the course. One of my classmates got a job at one of the best bars in SoBe before we even graduated!!! The classes are fun, the material they give you REALLY helps you learn and memorize all the liquors and drink recipes and you get tons of time to practice and get good at it. Don’t look any further, this school is awesome.

If you put in some effort and score high on the tests, they are very helpful with finding a job. I got one within 2 weeks of finishing school! All the instructors are very nice and friendly, and they make you feel comfortable when you first start. You really do get enough practice that you can be ready for your first day of work. The staff wants you to succeed, because it means that they succeeded, so they care a lot about their students.

In the classes there is a lot of ground to cover for 2 weeks. Somehow in my class we all got 90's on both practical and written. If you put an effort to study you'll make it.

By souniiq - Apr 2, 2010 : Upon graduating from Elite, I noticed how much knowledge I've acquired behind the bar. I thought I knew what it took to be a bartender. But what I learned was beyond what I expected. The hands on training really helps, a great bartender learns from experience and practice. The instructors work in the field as bartenders, and know what to teach their students and what to prepare them for. Elite just staffed me for my first gig at Ultra Music Festival, and it was definitely an experience. It taught me and prepared me for the fast-paced environment bartending can be. I now work alongside bartenders "not certified/or trained" and you can definitely feel the difference. If you want to train to be the best, I highly recommend investing in Elite, especially since it's a lifetime membership you are getting, that doesn't hurt one bit! I'm excited to see what the industry has to offer, thanks guys!

In the program not only are you being taught to be a great bartender, but the instructors offer a plethora of information based on their past and current experiences. The curriculum is awesome, the discussions are amazing, and the overall experience is definitely remarkable because of the opportunities that follow. I'm so glad I decided to attend ELITE and I would advise anyone else that's interested in bartending to definitely check out ELITE!

Yandy,Gordon, Sean, and Austin are not only good helpful people but are very knowledgeable on being a bartender and well connected in Miami. Before I had even completed Elite's course, Elite's staff set me up with a job interview. Thanks to the patient, knowledgeable and thorough teachers, I passed the final exams, received my license and am Bartending at a steakhouse! I've only been licensed for a few days! I completely recommend Elite Bartending School to everyone! The teachers are genuine and helping you find a job is their priority.

I spent two weeks practicing behind a bar, learning mixology skills, recipes, and I got to gain confidence while having fun the entire time! The classes are well structured and you get the hands-on practice you need to get ahead. Thanks to Elite Bartending I was able to get a job right after graduation at the Clevelander Hotel (thank you Austin!). I am 110% satisfied with the school. These guys do an awesome job in training the students and helping them get ahead.

I was able to attend the evening classes which worked out with my already hectic days. Gordon, Austin, and Yandy are a great team. These guys are patient, more than helpful and made the course fun. What I liked the most about the school with the exception of the team was that the classes were located inside of a nightclub and behind an actual bar so there was a lot of hands on training that backed up the lecture. With this type of training you are prepared to go from class to a job and feel confident with what your doing. I got my 1st gig bartending at the Super Bowl tailgating party thanks to Elite!!! Im so excited and pleased with Elite. If your looking to start working as a bartender...Elite is the school for you.

They actually HELP you after you graduate to find a job. They constantly find new job leads and post them for graduates & once you graduate you can go back anytime and practice. Thanks to them I am also working for the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl. Great School I would recommend it to anyone!

Great School / Personal attention
By Mimi - Jan 11, 2010 : I really enjoyed the bar tending class that was offered at Elite. I also did my research beforehand and made a visit before deciding on Elite. I really appreciated the personal attention that Austin, Yandy and Gordon offered. I didn't feel like I was just another enrollment. Because of my schedule, it was hard to come to all of the classes and they were very accommodating, and did everything possible to make it work for me, I was not rushed out of school. It took me a little longer to complete, but when I took the test, I really felt that I was ready for the bartending world. The life time membership is also a plus. You can go back any time they will help answer any questions and you can practice your skills behind the bar.

From the practical quality content of the classes to the dedication of the professors/bartenders, Elite has been great. At first, I was somewhat skeptical of every bartending school. Since I really wanted to improve my bartending/mixologist education, I did my research and then picked State Licensed schools only. I then visited them in person. The course content may be similar (pouring methods, hands on training, point of sale training, drink recipes, etc, but as soon as I met these guys, saw the setting (an ACTUAL Club in SoBe.!) and realized how well connected they are, I had made my decision. I now know I made the right one! Their assistance with job placement is already worth the price of the course. Guys, keep up with that good work!!

Coming into this class I thought it was going to be good, I had no idea it would be Great!!! These guys exceeded ALL of my expectations. I have never had a class like this where the instructors want you to succeed so much in the business. Both Austin and Yandy are great teachers and very Knowledgeable, they will answer every question you have and they are always available. They don’t rush you out of school without you feeling ready for the bartending world. and plus the life time membership is amazing You can go back any time they will help answer any questions and you can brush up on your skills behind the bar and practice as long as you need too!!... As you can see i can go on and on about these guys they are truly a blessing to the bartending world and to anybody that wants to learn to be bartenders!!!!!... PS the job placement program they have is very good as well.

Just graduated from Elite bartending
By carlos - Dec 7, 2009 : Elite bartending was a great experience the teachers Austin and Yandi are very professional and very knowledgeable about bartending. There is no false advertisement as posted on the link below who can’t even spell advertisement gives you a good insight on what type of people are posting these false statements. These are petty competitors who most likely sent a spy to a free class and felt threaten on how successful Gordon, Austin, Yandi are running Elite bartending. Before i signed up for the class i did my research around Miami for other schools and they didn’t come close. I just graduated 12/4/09 and already have a handful of job leads thanks to Elite bartending. They offer a free class and highly recommend if you are interested in becoming a bartender you take the opportunity and experience it for yourself.

They worked with you financially, (you didn't have to give them the full payment upfront) and the classes were perfection. They really want you to become a great bartender and they work hands on with you. The classes are pretty small which makes it that much better for you to learn. They also insist that once you graduate you may come in at any time to practice. They also send you leads every week for jobs. I recommend Elite to anyone who is considering becoming a bartender. I have learned so much in this class (and trust me it is ALOT of information). They are AMAZING teachers! Love you guys.

The staff is amazing and they were very helpful from the first time I called throughout the entire two week course. They seem like they really take pride in making sure you become a great bartender, and with the classes being held at an actual club I really became comfortable in the environment. Their efforts continued even after I had finished the class in assisting me with finding a job. I start my new job bartending this week and I am going in confident that Elite has taught me the skills I need to be an amazing bartender too. Thanks guys, YOU ROCK!
THE REAL DEAL ON THE BEACH FOR BARTENDING...
By Drew - Sep 17, 2009 : I took the two week course and it was great, it has more of a family and can do atmosphere and it was well organized and put together. The location was even better because you get to see what your real work surroundings are going to be like. They thoroughly train you in all aspects in bartending and mixology. The flair classes are great as well! Not soon after I got hired @ the American Airlines Arena where the Miami heat play their games and also for special events and concerts etc. Now if I were you I would register soon as possible with them because classes fill up in a hurry! THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL ON THE BEACH AS FAR AS BARTENDING! You get your license and certification after graduating from there they help you with looking for positions and placements. Much Respect GUYS!

The guys there are very attentive to detail and does a great job at making sure you learn everything that is necessary to become a good bartender. But really best of all is their effort to provide you with job leads once you graduate. Always working to make sure that you get a job behind the bar (if you haven't gotten one already).
